Crystal Gayden is the managing partner of the Law Office of Crystal L. Gayden in Fort Worth and has been a family law attorney for more than 10 years. Crystal manages cases that include divorce, child custody, property division, enforcements, and adoptions. Crystal’s experience includes litigating, defending, and mediating a vast array of simple and complex family law matters.
Crystal is originally from Houston, Texas and a graduate of the University of Houston – Downtown. She attended law school at Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas and received her law degree in 2009. She is a mother of two and attends Trinity Harvest Church.
Crystal served as President of The L. Clifford Davis Legal Association (LCDLA) which is named after the namesake Judge L. Clifford Davis. Through her leadership with LCDLA the Annual Expunction and Non-Disclosure Clinic was created in 2016. This initiative formed partnerships with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, the Stop Six Initiative, The City of Forest Hill, the City of Arlington and the City of Como. The Clinic has been able to clear the criminal records of over 500 residents of Tarrant County and continues each year.
Crystal serves as President Elect of the Black Women’s Lawyer’s Association and also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. Crystal has provided over 100 hours of pro-bono services for those individuals that are unable to afford attorneys for the last 6 years. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter. Crystal firmly believes that service to her community is the core to leadership and she will continue her commitment through this journey.
